Peru’s Cusco region has welcomed 1.9 million foreign tourists between January and October 2018, thus increasing 6.3% over the same period last year, Central Reserve Bank (BCR) informed Thursday.

Citizens from the following countries posted the greatest positive changes in visitor flows: the United States (493,000 sightseers), France (118,000), Spain (76,000), and China (36,000).

On the other hand, visits from Argentina (98,000) and Chile (69,000) registered the largest declines.
