Peru is among the ten most popular destinations for group travel incentives, being the only Latin American country on said list, the Exports and Tourism Promotion Board (PromPeru) informed Monday.
It is common knowledge that thousands of international companies currently motivate and reward their employees —and even clients— through incentive programs.
Within this context, a study conducted by Creative Group showed the main success factor for this type of trips is the chosen destination.
In addition, this multinational enterprise put together a list of the top 10 international destinations, which are ideal for group incentives.
According to Creative Group, “these destinations have been chosen because of their unique position to provide a wide variety of activities and landscapes within a single, or nearby locations.”
It must be noted Peru has those characteristics, as it offers travelers several options such as cultural and adventure tourism sites.
The South American nation ranks third on the list, which is topped by Portugal and followed by Croatia.
In this sense, Creative Group highlighted the Inca country’s capital city of Lima is an urban destination with a rich history.
It also remarked that “a visit to Peru wouldn’t be complete without a trip to Machu Picchu, its most famous archeological treasure.”
