The Chavin de Huantar archaeological complex, located in the Ancash region, will offer night tours during the Independence Day holidays, confirmed today Fatima Rodriguez, head of the Directorate of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Dircetur) of Ancash. She explained that tourists can visit the archaeological site during this Saturday, July 27 and Sunday, July 28. “Ticket costs will be the same. There is also the possibility to make the visit during the day, if they wish, but we are offering the night tours, which gives another view of the Chavin complex”. In addition to the tour, tourists can also enjoy a cultural show. This was offered during the Easter holiday and was very popular among visitors.
The Chavin archaeological complex is located about 3,177 meters above sea level, east of the imposing Cordillera Blanca. From Huaraz – Ancash capital – there is a distance of 86 kilometers.
